Facility service provider Spotless Group has made two key appointments – it says – will enhance its position as a leading provider of integrated facilities services in New Zealand.
James Fletcher has joined the company as general manager, New Zealand, while Malcolm Allan has been appointed national manager, markets and growth.
Both appointments bring an established track record of sector specialisation, service line growth and customer centricity.
Reporting to chief operating officer Dana Nelson, James will lead the New Zealand business and will be directly responsible for the company’s business, industry, education and healthcare sectors.
He brings to the role more than 15 years of senior management experience from the building products, construction and facilities services industries. Recent leadership roles include managing director of OCS New Zealand and general manager, Norfolk Group.
“James will be a great asset to the Spotless team,” said Dana.
“Across his many senior roles, he has displayed a transformational approach to health and safety, sales growth and business improvement. We are delighted to welcome him to the company.
“Our New Zealand operations are a valued, solid-performing division in Spotless’ portfolio. We know there are opportunities to cross-sell new service lines into existing customers, as well as leverage opportunities to expand our footprint in current sectors with new contracts.”
James was a finalist for the Executive of the Year in the New Zealand Workplace Health & Safety Awards 2015. He is currently the chairman of the leadership subcommittee and a member of the Steering Group of the Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum.
Malcolm Allan has more than 20 years of experience in operations management, strategic leadership and business development across a range of industries. Most recently, he was general manager sales and marketing for OCS New Zealand and has previously held roles in the fresh produce, television and printing industries.
“Malcolm’s specialist skills in stakeholder relationship management will be a great asset to Spotless,” shared general manager markets and growth Agi Luczak.
“His negotiation and liaison expertise will contribute to improved revenue generation, efficiency and overall administration.”
James started with Spotless on Monday 3 October and is based in Auckland. Malcolm is also based in Auckland and commences on Thursday 6 October.
