OCS New Zealand has opened a new branch is Albany on Auckland’s North Shore, taking the soft services company’s network to 24.
OCS NZ general manager Gareth Marriott said the new branch will reduce the cost of doing business and allow for better distribution.
“The establishment of the branch means that the 750 staff currently working in the wider North Shore area can easily access a logistics hub for vehicles, consumables and supervision,” Marriot says.
“With the traffic challenges Auckland is facing it was important for OCS to take a longer term strategic view and ensure we are planning for the future.”
Marriott said the new branch also reinforces one of the OCS key value propositions, which is to have an extensive, national branch network.
Existing Cannon and OCS business on the North Shore and West Auckland will be serviced from the Albany site, with Auckland operations manager, Ray Ruan, leading the branch.
